David Michael Johnson

David Michael Johnson, age 65, of Columbus passed away at home on January 20, 2023 after battling multiple health problems. He was born on July 8, 1957 in Columbus to the late James Henry and Marilyn Valentine Johnson. In addition to his parents, Dave is preceded in death by his grandparents, Mearl and Edna Valentine.

Dave is survived by his brothers, Mark (Cathy) Johnson, Greg (Patty) Johnson; niece, Courtney and nephew, Kyle.

Dave graduated from Northland High School in 1975 and attended The Ohio State University, where he developed his quest for learning. He was employed at Jack Maxton Chevrolet for many years.

In lieu of flowers, family would hope that you will do an unexpected and unsolicited act of kindness for some poor, unfortunate soul in honor of Dave. Anyone who remembers Dave is asked to celebrate his life in their own way. Raising a glass of their favorite beverage would be quite appropriate.

Dave's life to be celebrated by family and friends at a later date.
