David Jones

David Jones, 79, went to be with the Lord on Friday, May 25, 2012.

He was born July 6, 1932 in Valley City, OH, son of the late William and Agnes Read Jones.

In addition to his parents, Dave was preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters.

He retired from Ranco, Inc. and attended the Church of the Good Shepherd United Methodist Church.

Dave is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Geneva; daughters, Carolyn Jones and Deborah Garber both of Worthington; brothers, Daniel (Marlene) Jones of Beallsville, OH, {his paternal twin} and Gilbert Jones of New Matamoras, OH; sisters, Martha (Glenn) Ady of Woodsfield, OH and Barbara (Frank) Duke of Bradenton, FL; precious grandchildren, Chris and Andrew Jones, Anthony and Hannah Garber and Kendall Hardy.

Family will receive friends on Tuesday, May 29, 2012 from 1:00-3:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home NE Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Rd. Columbus with a celebration of life at 3:00 PM.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to HomeReach Hospice c/o Ohio Health Foundation 180 E. Broad St. Fl. 32 Columbus, Ohio 43215.

David was a loving husband, father and grandfather that will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege to have known him.
