David Leo Brown, 61, of Columbus, passed away March 1, 2011. He was born May 19, 1949 in Columbus, OH. He was preceded in death by his father, Leo Brown. David is survived by his loving wife of 33 years, Sandra Brown; mother, Virginia Brown; children, Danny VanHoose JR., Lisa McLain, and Amy (Chris) Tippett; siblings, Starr Sisler, Crystal Steele and Donald Brown; 7 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. David bravely served his country in the U.S. Marines. He worked as a security guard at GS4. David was a devoted husband, and loving father who will truly be missed by his family. Visitation will be held Sunday, March 6, 2011 from 4:00 to 6:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH 43123. Funeral service will be held Monday, March 7, 2011 at 1:00 PM at the funeral home. Burial at Union Cemetery. .
