TYNDALL
David Leon Tyndall, 78, loving husband, father, and grandfather, passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 26, 2008, at his home. Born to the late Murl and Lois (Freewald) Tyndall in Indiana on July 26,1930, David is survived by his wife of 58 years, Mary Lou (Burchfield) Tyndall; daughters, Debbie (Andy Curtis) Turner, Donna (Hector) Campacci, Dinah Lou (Craig) Emrich; son, David (Corina) Tyndall; brother, William (Lucille) Tyndall; 6 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. David owned and operated the Boulevard Carry Out in Grandview for many years and was a member of the Tri-Village Lions Club, American Legion Post 239, past member of the Moose and served in the US Navy during the Korean Conflict for 4 years. After retirement, David was a hospital volunteer for 5 years, enjoyed finding treasures at garage sales and loved restoring and showing antique cars. David was a Euchre Champion and passed on the love of cards to his family. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 29, 2008, 2-6PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3047 East Dublin Granville Road, Columbus, OH with the Funeral Service at 6:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the FVC Residents Association Fund, c/o Columbus Foundation, 20 Governor Place, Columbus, OH 43203.
