WEAVER
David Roy Weaver, 79, went to join the Lord on Saturday, January 16, 2010. He was surrounded by his loving family at home. David was preceded in death by his mother, Hilda (Ivan) Stoltz; aunt, Norma (Verne) Black; and uncle, Donald (Rose) Kelley. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Lela; son, David (Julie); granddaughters, Marie (Sean) Barker, Christie Weaver and Brandy Weaver; great-granddaughters, Grace and Ryleigh; and great-grandson, Cason. David was a great asset to New Albany First Church of the Nazarene, where he was a member and taught Sunday school. In his free time, he loved to build and fly model airplanes and do wood work. David (K8ZIB) enjoyed making friends as a HAM radio operator. Visitation, Wednesday, January 20, 2010 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, NE Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Rd., Columbus, OH. Funeral Service Thursday, January 21, 2010 at 1 PM also at the funeral home. Interment to follow at Northlawn Memory Gardens in Westerville.
