Rev. David M. Rhodes, 62 years old, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, June 8th, 2010. David was a Columbus, OH resident, formerly of Newcastle, PA. He ministered the Gospel to thousands of people in homes, churches and bible studies throughout the US. Rev. David was a simple man that loved creation, from animals to nature. His greatest compassion was his God and his loving wife of 45 years. He will be truly missed by his loving family, friends and fellow Christians.
David was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas Earl and Virginia Leigh (Junk) Rhodes. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife Bonny (Mike) Rhodes, sister and brother-in-law, Helen Rebecca and Albert DeRose, and brother-in-law Joseph Sparano, nephew, Jonathon (Jennifer) Hetrickand, great niece Ashley Hetrick, and his two furry companions, Chrissy and Shaylin.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 12th, 2010 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, service immediately following at 4:00 PM, all at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH 43123.
