David W. Miller

June 18, 1949 — January 20, 2025

London, Ohio

David W. Miller, affectionately known as Dave, passed away on January 20, 2025, at the age of 75. Born on June 18, 1949, in Columbus, Ohio, David lived a life marked by dedication, love, and a touch of mischief.

A Journeyman Carpenter by trade, he took immense pride in his work. He was a military veteran, having served in the Army during the Vietnam War. His life was characterized by a simple yet fulfilling routine, where he combined his passion for carpentry with his love for animals. A true animal lover, Dave found joy in the companionship of his cats.

He graduated from Pleasantview High School, where he likely began to cultivate his sweet, slightly ornery personality, which endeared him to many. Dave was known for his charitable nature, always willing to lend a hand to those in need. His interests included a love for collecting paper money and stamps, hobbies that reflected his love for history and art.

David is survived by his son, Andy (Cindy) Miller; his daughter, Charity (Lee) Blevens; and his grandchildren, Chris Miller, Zachary Miller, Jennifer (Mathew) White, Jacob Blevens, and Emily Blevens. He also leaves behind his sister, Kathy Daigle and sister-in-law Cheryl Miller.

He is preceded in death by his father, Walter Grover Miller; his mother, Virginia Beth Miller; his wife, Linda Miller; and his brother, John Miller.

David's legacy of kindness and his zest for life will remain close to the hearts of all who knew him. His spirit will be remembered fondly in the stories shared by family and friends alike.
