David Wells, age 46, of Columbus, OH passed away suddenly on Friday, February 23, 2018.
He graduated from Franklin Heights class of 1990. He was employed by Welspun USA in Grove City. The Wells family were carriers for the Columbus Dispatch in Hilliard. He was a diehard Michigan & Bengals fan and dedicated coach for Gladden Little League Baseball.
Preceded in death by his mother, Carolyn "Poe" Wells; great-grandmother, Esther King; grandparents, Donna Baldy, Donald & Virginia Wells, Dan & Betty Bartley.
He is survived by his wife, Laura Smith Wells; sons, Hunter and Tyler Wells; father, William (Nancy) Wells; brother, Jason Wells; sister, Kacy (Mick) Baker; aunts, Denise "Susie" Wells, Sharon Cossin and Diana (David) Little; cousins, Richard Bartley, Jeremy and Cassie Little and Kenny Cossin; nieces, Megan and Kaylee Baker; also survived by many great friends and coworkers.
Visitation will be held Friday, March 2, 2018 from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. at Newcomer Grove City, 3393 Broadway.
Funeral service will be held Saturday, March 3, 2018 at 10 a.m. at the funeral home, where visitation will be held 1 hour prior to service.
Interment to follow at Green Lawn Cemetery, Columbus, OH.
