David B. Woods, 56, passed away at home surrounded by his loving family on February 22, 2009. Graduate of Northmont High School. Retired from Sears Distribution. District Manager for the Columbus Dispatch. Dave is survived by his loving and caring wife of 36 years, Carol; daughter, Megan E. Woods; son, Brian Woods; parents, William and Anna Woods of Clayton, Oh; brother, Michael B. (Claudette) Woods of Dallas, TX; grandson, Evan David Woods; many aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends. A Celebration of Dave's life will be Saturday, February 28, 2009 at 3:00 pm, with a luncheon immediately following at the Columbia Heights United Methodist Church, 775 Galloway Road, Galloway, OH 43119. Pastor A. Gail Sims and Pastor Ed Lewis will officiate. Donations can be made to the American Heart Association and the American Cancer Society in David's memory. Arrangements entrusted to Newcomer Funeral Home SW Chapel.
