Deborah Weaver

Debbie Weaver, 69, originally from Columbus, OH passed away May 4, 2023 in Arizona after surviving for 19 years as a quadriplegic. She was preceded in death by parents, Verne and Lourdes "Lori" Richards and most recently her husband, William Weaver in August of 2022. Debbie is survived by son, Eric (Mandy) Hagemann; daughter, Kelly (Andy) Rhodes; grandchildren, Austin, Alexis, and Alexander Jack "AJ" Hagemann, Braden and Connor Rhodes; first great-grandson born the day after her passing, Bodi Oliver Hagemann; brother, Tim (Darlene) Richards; brother-in-law, David (Teri) Weaver; mother and father-in-law, William and Maxine Weaver; nieces and nephews, Noel Richards, Lance Richards, Kyle (Mary) Weaver, Kaeli (Josh) Allenstein; as well as many special and supportive friends.

She graduated from Northland High School in 1972. Debbie was on Homecoming Court and was a member of the National Honor Society. She graduated from Grant Hospital School of Nursing in 1977. Debbie served her community for 26 years as a nurse. She was on the first heart transplant team at Grant Hospital in Columbus, OH during the 1980s. Debbie enjoyed having her Starbucks and Donatos, spending time with family and friends, boating, bowling, and loved helping people. More than anything, Debbie loved spending time with her grandkids.

Gathering Sunday, May 21, 2023 from 1pm until the time of Memorial Service at 3pm at Newcomer, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Debbie's memory to Capital City Hospice, 2800 Corporate Exchange Dr. #170, Columbus, OH 43231.
