Debra J. Cox

Debra J. "Debbie" Cox of Galloway, Ohio, passed away peacefully on May 21, 2022, after a long battle with cancer. She is survived by her husband, Jeff; her mother, Anna Young; siblings; Cheryl (Rod) Burgoon, Greg (Deanna) Young, and Jani (Ron) Rider; 3 nieces and nephews, as well as many beloved extended "family of friends."

Debbie was a retired State of Ohio employee with nearly 32 years of service as an Administrative Professional. She enjoyed cooking and entertaining friends and family with amazing new recipes. Debbie enjoyed traveling, cruising and going to places with lots of sunshine, sand and oceans. Through many battles in life and in the last 3 years, she leaned on her faith in God to bring her through those times.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 28, 2022, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., at Newcomer Funeral Home, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, 43123, where a Funeral Service will begin at 1 p.m. Pastor Daryl Wicker will officiate.

Special thanks to Debbie's cancer doctors at the Zangmeister Cancer Center, whom she loved. They took excellent care of her during her entire battle. Also, special thanks to Hospice of Central Ohio nursing and all the staff for their care and support of her and our family.
