Dee Moorehead-Hanson, 59, of Columbus, Ohio, born June 18, 1948 was received into Heaven on January 16, 2008. A devoted and loving wife, sister and aunt. She was preceded in death by husband, Steve Hanson. Survived by her sisters, Becky Rocco and Robin (Jerry) Allen; nieces, Tiffany Wood and Kimberly Rocco; nephew, Jerry Allen II; great-nephews, Darius, Devin and Damian Wood, along with aunts, uncles, many cousins and friends. Dee was a member of Prince of Peace Lutheran Church and Ladies Auxiliary V.F.W. Post 9473. No one was a stranger to Dee and she had a heart of gold. The Wood boys were the twinkle in her eyes. Family will receive friends on Monday, January 21, 2008 from 4:00-6:00PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, Southwest Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, Ohio, with a memorial service beginning at 6:00PM. Pastor Gail Swanson will be officiating. The family requests that in lieu of flowers memorial contributions be made in care of Newcomer Funeral Home.
