Deidre "Dee Dee" A. Wagner, a spirited soul who brought laughter and warmth to everyone lucky enough to know her, has left this world far too soon to reunite with the love of her life, Joe Wagner. Born on September 22, 1965, in Columbus, Ohio, Dee Dee was the kind of person whose presence lit up every room. She spent her younger days as an Administrative Assistant, but it’s her larger-than-life personality that truly defined her legacy.
Dee Dee was a proud 1983 graduate of West High School. She embraced life with a unique flair—her humor was as contagious as her loyalty was steadfast. She was funny as hell. Known for her particularity and generosity, she was the glue that held her family and friends together, with an unwavering love that enveloped everyone she met.
Her creative spirit thrived through her many hobbies. Whether crafting, sewing, crocheting or painting, Dee Dee had that magical touch that turned the mundane into masterpieces. She relished cozy evenings filled with Hallmark movies, often with a sprinkle of her baked goods that had everyone asking for seconds. Not to mention, she ruled the realms of Amazon and Door Dash like a queen, ensuring that her family never went without all the little joys that arrived at their doorstep.
Dee Dee's heart laid its roots deep within family traditions, digging her heels in to cultivate memories that would last forever. She leaves behind her loving daughters, Mandy (Greg) Taylor and Nicole Wagner; her adored grandchildren, Kaylee Taylor, James Wagner, and Bryce Taylor; and a legacy of laughter and affection that will remain in all their hearts.
As we gather on March 26, 2025, at the Newcomer Funeral Home in Grove City, Ohio, for a visitation from 4 PM to 6 PM followed by a heartfelt funeral service starting at 6 PM, let us cherish the vibrant essence of Dee Dee. She may have passed peacefully in her home on March 21, 2025, but her spirit will forever soar among us.
In remembering Dee Dee, we celebrate a woman who loved fiercely, laughed unabashedly, and lived life on her own terms. She joins her beloved family members, Harold Dixon (father), Frances Bargar Dixon (mother), Joe Wagner (husband), and Jack Dixon (brother) in a reunion that can only be described as a riotous celebration! Cheers to you, dear Dee Dee—you will be deeply missed and fondly remembered!
