Delbert Louis Brooks, 74, of Columbus, passed away Thursday, June 26, 2008. Delbert was born in Grove City, Ohio on May 31, 1934 to the late James and Anna Mae Brooks. Delbert greatly enjoyed playing country music with his family. Delbert is survived by his daughters, Charlotte (Jeff) Jordan, and Debbie (Rick) Phillips; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; brother, Jack (Jean) Brooks; and special friend Margie Love. Visitation will be held Sunday, June 29, 2008 from 2:00PM-4:00PM and 6:00PM-8:00PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, Southwest Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, Ohio. Funeral services will be held Monday, June 30, 2008 at 10:00AM at the funeral home. Pastor Jim Blankenship officiating.
