Delbert L. Robinson

Delbert L. Robinson, 80, of Gahanna, went to be with the Lord on August 26, 2021. Delbert was born February 17, 1941 to Wilbur and Florence {Jordan} Robinson. He was an active member of the East Columbus Community Church. Delbert played in country bands and enjoyed playing and working with steel guitars. He especially enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and family. Delbert will be deeply missed by his wife Karen (Day) of 52 years; children Delbert L. (Elisa), Kimberly (Jeff), Jackie (Jason); 15 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; brother Wilbur "Gene" (Aunalie); and cousin Betty Seymour along with many other family and friends. Delbert was preceded in death by his parents and brother Raymond (Barbara). Visitation Wednesday, September 1, 2021, from 2pm to 4pm and 6pm to 8pm at Newcomer Funeral Home SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, 43123. Funeral services will be Thursday, September 2, 2021 at 10am at the funeral home with Pastor Cheryl Isaacs officiating. Burial will be at Walnut Hill Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Kobacker House or the American Heart Association.
