Delbert "Del" Lewis Wilhelm, 80, of Westerville, passed away Sunday, May 19, 2013 at his residence.
He was born October 22, 1932 in Chillicothe, son of the late Willard and Lena Gabelman Wilhelm.
In addition to his parents, Del was preceded in death by his son, John Wilhelm.
He served in the Army during the Korean Conflict. Del was a member of the Vineyard Church of Columbus and served as the Director for Vineyard Free Medical Clinic 1996-2004. He also was the President of the Ohio Creative Realtors Exchange Association. Del retired from Commercial Real Estate with over 30 years of service.
He is survived by his wife, Kay Dillon Wilhelm; daughter, Jerilynn (Michael) Powers; sons, Mike (Jill) and Rob (Karen) Wilhelm; grandchildren, Jenna Powers, Zack (Bonnie), Brian, Samantha and Julie Wilhelm.
Visitation will be Friday, May 24, 2013 from 10:00-11:30 AM at Newcomer Funeral Home NE Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Rd. Columbus.
Funeral service will be Friday, May 24, 2013 at at 11:30 AM.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Lukes Brigade LLC (501C3)
Interment will be in Wesley Chapel Cemetery.
