Della (Wells) Welsh, 98, of Grove City, OH, passed on July 20, 2022. She was born on October 24, 1923. She was in charge of the Nursery for 27 years at St. John Lutheran Church in Grove City.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald, daughter, Linda Biggs, 7 brothers and 3 sisters.
She is survived by daughter, Nancy Hammack, grandchildren, Nancy (Ron) May, Laurie (Shawn) Wilkins, Fred (Carol) Biggs and Andy Biggs. She has 13 great-grandchildren, 12 great-great-grandchildren. She also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, cousins and good friends at Grovewood.
Visitation will be held from 11am-1pm, Thursday, July 28, 2022 at Newcomer Funeral Home, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH 43123, where a funeral service will begin at 1pm.
Burial will follow at Grove City Cemetery-Old Section.
In lieu of flowers donations may be directed to OhioHealth Hospice, Attn: David P. Blom - Administrative Campus, OhioHealth Foundation, 3430 OhioHealth Pkwy, Columbus, Ohio 43202-9928.
