Delois Marcum

Delois Ann (Vance) Marcum "Lois" passed away at home on Friday, September 3, 2021 at the age of 78. She was born on October 31, 1942 in Beaver, Kentucky. She was the sixth of 12 children born to Arthur and Rosie Vance. She loved her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren with everything she had. Lois enjoyed sports, gardening, "keeping the roads hot", spontaneous trips, anything family related, and cornbread with buttermilk. She is survived by: her children Charlisa Marcum "Lisa", Landon E. Marcum III "Marc"; her grandchildren Zachary A. Marcum, Charleann Laing "Charlie" (Will), Landon E. Marcum IV, JessE. Levi Marcum, Rosielea Marcum "Rosie"; great-grandchildren Annalea E. Laing, Emmaline Laing, W.Patrick Laing; siblings Loretta Horne (Gabe), Gilberta Lutz (Ron), Julius J. Vance (Debbie), Gary M. Vance (Janet), Saundra L. Sapp (Charlie), Coy D. Vance, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. She is preceded in death by: her soulmate Landon E. Marcum (Gene); her daughter Cherilea Marcum "Cheri"; her siblings Glenvil G. Vance (Shirley), Wellman W. Vance (Brenda), Valda M. Dawson (Jack), Arthur A. Vance (Jr.), Peggy J. Crawford (Myron), and many other relatives and friends. She was loved by all who knew her and will be deeply missed. A celebration of life will be held in her honor at Tri-Village Christian Church, 7509 E. Broad St., Pataskala, OH 43062 on Thursday, September 9, 2021. Visiting hours start at 11:00 a.m. followed by a service at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made on her behalf to the Mt. Carmel Hospice program.

Friends may call at the Tri-Village Christian Church 7509 East Broad St SW, Pataskala, OH 43062 on Thursday, September 9, 2021 from 11:00am until time of funeral service at 1:00pm.
