Dennis Wayne Hawk Sr., 70, of Columbus, passed away Sunday, September 5, 2010 at his residence. He was born June 28, 1940, in Buchanon, OH, son of the late Agustus and Ethel Moreland Hawk. Dennis was a member of Good Shepherd Community Church. He is survived by his wife, Judy Cruse Hawk; daughter, Denise (Larry) Vanderwerf; sons, Dennis (Marti) Hawk Jr. and Dwayne (Kari) Hawk; grandchildren, Rick Gallucci Jr., Nicole Gallucci, Sara Vanderwerf, Shelby Hawk, Kelsey Hawk and Mackenzie Hawk; great grandson, Michael Messmer. Visitation will be Saturday, September 11, 2010 from 11:00-1:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway Grove City, with the memorial service beginning at 1:00 PM, with Dr. William L. Snider, officiating. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Odyssey Healthcare, 540 Officecenter Place Suite 100 Gahanna, OH 43230.
