Dennis E. Kean, lost his battle with cancer at the age 59. He died peacefully with his family by his side. Dennis loved life and racing. He was an avid participant, owner and supporter of NASCAR. He has been involved as a Team Manager in 3 Regional NASCAR Championships and worked for M&R Body Shop before he become ill.
Dennis was a loving father and grandfather. He was preceded in death by his parents Daniel and Cleo Kean, brother Roger E. Kean and sister Diane Kean LaRoche. Dennis is survived by his loving sons: William James Kean and Rob (Stephanie) Gibson, loving daughters: Sherry Lynn (Keith) Kean, Karla May Fields, and precious granddaughter, the light of his life, Emma Grace Kean, brother Lynn (Beverly) Kean and sister in law Patricia Kean. Dennis was loved by everyone and will be sadly missed by his Aunt Georgie, and many other family and friends.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, March 9th, 2010 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Service will be Wednesday, March 10th, 2010 at 1:00 PM, all at Newcomer Funeral Home SW, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH. Interment in Sunset Cemetery. Donations may be made to Kobacker House/Home Reach Hospice, 3595 Olentangy River Road, Columbus, OH, 43214.
