Dennis H. Rife

Dennis H. Rife, 60, of Columbus, Ohio died suddenly at home on March 13th, 2021.

He was born in Point Pleasant, West Virginia on October 26th, 1960 to Roger Howard and Tressie Louise (Summers) Rife.

He was the eldest son, followed by his sister Connie (Jim) Mote and brother Randy (Lisa) Rife, who still survive him.

Dennis loved his family dearly and enjoyed spending time with them.

Left to cherish his memory is his only son, Shawn (Erica) Parsons; and granddaughter, Chloe Parsons.

Dennis was an amazing grandfather, he and Chloe shared many memorable trips to Magic Mountain.

Chloe will always remember that her first bike came from her Grandpa Dennis.

Vacationing and visiting family in Florida were among the long list of things Dennis enjoyed. He was an avid Buckeyes fan and loved the Washington Football Team, and was a motorcycle enthusiast!

Dennis worked for Norfolk Southern Railway for many years.

He is preceded in death by his father, Roger; nieces, Nicole, Rachelle, and Roxann.

Additional surviving family includes his mother, Tresssie, nephew, Dustin Rife, nieces, Ciara (Jarrod) Robinson, Maranda (Lexie) Dice; great nephew, Marcus Robinson; as well as many other loving extended family and friends.

A Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 23rd, 2021 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm with a Funeral Service immediately following.
