Dennis P. Weaver
August 11, 1951 — December 2, 2021
Denny Weaver (age 70) of Westerville, Ohio passed away at home on December 2nd.
He was preceded in death by parents Forest Weaver and Rita Collins, brother Mike Weaver, and father in law Chuck McCann.
He is survived by wife Cathy, his two daughters, Jessie (Joey) Lowery and Missy Weaver, sister Julie (Chris) Collins, brother Tommy (Bonnie Tiller) Weaver, mother in law Nancy Lane, sisters in law, Connie (Stan) Grashel, Ogden Dunes, IN, Caren McCann, Crystal (Brian) Staats, and numerous nieces and nephews. Grand pups: Gretta, Chewy, Lilly and Faith. Grand cats: Wilma, Saffie, Annie, Sassy, and Daisy.
Denny worked at the Ohio Dept of Taxations for 35 years.
He enjoyed softball and golf and played in leagues for many years.
He was a proud DeSales graduate, class of '69.
He was an avid OSU Buckeye Football and Basketball fan. He was a die hard Steelers fan even when they weren't winning.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Denny's memory to DASH (Danielle's Animal Safe Haven), the rescue Gretta was adopted from. https://dashrescue.rescuegroups.org/info/donate
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 9th, 2021 from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm with Funeral Services immediately following.
