Denzil Miller, age 91, of Columbus, passed away November 22, 2023, peacefully at home. Denzil was born November 27, 1931 in Glen Alum, West Virginia to Edward (Buck) and Laura (Blankenship) Miller.
Denzil served in the Air Force for over 4 years during the Korean War. His career lasted over 35 years as a fireman/policeman for Timken Roller Bearing Company. He loved his church, Life Church of Easton, and was very supportive in church activities including an usher for years. Denzil was a home body where he enjoyed tinkering around in the garage. He was a family man and was most happy when his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren were around.
Denzil will be deeply missed by his wife, Norma Jean (Dotson) of 68 years; son, Steve (Tina) Miller, daughters Rhonda (Tom) Lease, and Pamela (Parviz) Filsoufi; 5 grandchildren Emily (Nathan) Jackson, Matthew Lease, Orion Miller, Ashleigh Miller, and Mackinney Filsoufi; 2 great-grandchildren Lucy and William Jackson.
Visitation will be Wednesday, December 6, from 10:30 to until the time of service at 11:00 a.m. with Ross DiGiorgio officiating at Newcomer NE Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin Granville Rd. Columbus.
