Despina "Dena" Faulkner, 83, of Dublin, passed away Saturday, October 22, 2011 at Whetstone Garden Care Center. She was born July 2, 1928, in Urbana, OH, daughter of the late Pete and Magdeline Dickson. In addition to her parents, Dena was preceded in death by her son, Mark Anthony Faulkner and son-in-law, Stephen Michael Love. She graduated from Urbana High School in 1946 as Salutatorian and also attended Russell Sage College and Oberlin College. Dena Managed the Urbana College Bookstore and then worked as a Programmer Analyst for ACCELL International Corp. She is survived by her daughter, Diane Marie Love; sons, Christopher Charles Faulkner and Peter Daniel Faulkner; brothers, Charles Dickson and Anthony Dickson; sister, Frances Stangas and ten grandchildren. Visitation will be Wednesday, October 26, 2011 from 5:00-8:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home NE Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Rd. Columbus. Funeral service will be Thursday, October 27, 2011 at 10:00 AM at the funeral home. Interment will be in Oak Dale Cemetery, Urbana.
