Dewey Carpenter, age 79, of Marysville passed away Saturday, June 4, 2005. Mr. Carpenter was preceded in death by daughter Laura Dell Glena. Survivors include his wife Violet, son Dewey Carpenter Jr., daughters Deltah (Paul) Kleinhans and Paula Fields, brothers, Harley Carpenter and Darrell (Naomi) Carpenter, eleven grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren. Family will receive friends from 10:00am-12:00p.m., Tuesday, June 7, 2005 at the Genoa Baptist Church, 7562 Lewis Center Rd., Westerville, Ohio 43082 with the funeral services starting at 12:00p.m. Pastor Wayne Booth and Pastor Frank Carl will be officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Vernon Memorial Gardens. Arrangements entrusted to Newcomer Funeral Home, Northeast Chapel. Messages of condolence may be left at www.newcomerfamily.com
