Dewey Gillman, 73, Columbus, passed away Saturday, May 1, 2010, surrounded by his loving family. Dewey was born in Logan, WV., on February 26, 1937, to Boyd and Lula (McGraw) Gillman and is preceded in death by his parents; sister, Maxine Derifield; brothers, Robert, Orville, Leonard, Estil, Dennis, Willard Gillman. Survivors include his wife, Victoria (Speakman) Gillman; sons, Dewey Lee and Ray (Rita) Gillman; sisters, Ruby (Cecil) Belcher and Margie Baker; brother, Clifford (Sarah) Gillman; 6 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren; wife's daughters, Sandy (Kevin) Pimento and children and Patricia(Irish) Caudy and daughter; brother-in-law, Gary Derifield; special friends, John Gomez family; nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, 5-8 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, NE Chapel, 3047 East Dublin Granville Road, Columbus, OH with the Funeral Service on Wednesday, May 5, 2010, 11:00 AM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Mount Carmel Hospice, 6150 East Broad Street, Columbus, OH 43213.
