Diana Lynn McCoy

Diana Lynn McCoy, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, 73, passed away September 11th, in Columbus, Ohio with her loving husband of 35 years, Larry McCoy by her side. She is preceded in death by her parents Mary and William Cleveland, her son Tony Cavote, granddaughter Dottie Jean McCoy, her siblings Gary (Jo) Cleveland, Cheryl (Roger) Hearn, Bonnie Meade, Kathy Lilly and their poodles Tyler and lil’ Larry.

 Diana’s sweet, honest and loving nature will be profoundly missed. She is survived by her children Loretta (former spouse Ron) Vanover, grandson Ronnie (Kiah) Vanover, great grandsons JT and Nate; Michael (Vickie) Cavote, granddaughter Amanda Delzell (Joseph), great granddaughters Grace and Ember; Tony’s sons Mitchell Crabtree, Dylan Cavote and Gage Cavote; Will (Cat) McCoy, granddaughter Veronica McCoy, great grandchildren Cierra, Ivy, Lucas, and Rafael, granddaughter Victoria (David) Gomez, great grandchildren Stefan and Lena; Holly (Frank) Wolfe; Lori Duff, grandsons Jake, Logan and Henry; her siblings Debra Sadler, Belinda Bryner, Billie James, Dee Featherston, Carol Cleveland and many nieces and nephews.

 Diana enjoyed bingo and going to the casinos with her sisters. Also, she enjoyed spending quality time with family and friends during the holidays and other celebrations. In retirement she learned to appreciate watching golf with her husband. Back in the day, she enjoyed a good night of karaoke or watching Nascar with family.

 Family and friends may gather at Newcomer Funeral Home (3047 East Dublin-Granville Rd., Columbus OH 43231) on Thursday, September 19 from 4-7 pm. Then on Friday September 20 at 1 pm a Celebration of Life service will be officiated by Rev. Joe Mauriello, immediately following we will proceed to Northlawn Memory Gardens cemetery for a graveside service (7060 State Route 3, Westerville, OH 43082).
