Diana Jane Pope, 78, of Pataskala, Ohio passed away on September 2, 2023. She was born in Columbus on August 15, 1945 to the late Roy and Helen (Thorpe) Jackson, Sr. She is survived by her loving partner of over 28 years, Christopher Bereria.
Other survivors include son, Michael A Pope; daughter, Athena Petersen; grandchildren, Kimberly Pope, Cristian Petersen, Raven Pope, Christine Gallaher, Justin Pope, and April Hill; siblings, Cathy Jackson and Monta J. Tabor; and many family members and friends.
Diana served as a financials administrator for DFAS. When she wasn't working, she enjoyed spending time with family, making sure the house was clean, shopping, and talking on the phone with dear friends.
A visitation will be held on Monday, September 18, 2023 from 10 to 11am, at Newcomer, Northeast Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Road, Columbus, 43231. A Service to honor her life will begin at 11am, Monday at the funeral home. The Newcomer, Northeast Chapel is honored to serve the Pope family.
