Diana Lynn Rodgers, age72, of Columbus, Ohio, went to be with her Lord and Savior on February 10, 2021 at Mt Carmel East Hospital. Diana was the daughter of Virgil Lemley and Nelma (Ellis) Stanley and is preceded in death by both of her loving parents. She was a graduate of Whitehall Yearling High School, where she was involved in drama and was part of the Ramettes drill team. Diana was a member of Eastview United Methodist Church.
Diana is survived by her husband of 47 years, Charles L. Rodgers. Her three children, Jennifer (John) Blackburn, Charles (Violet) Rodgers and Lisa (Tom) Bright. Her eight grandchildren, Patrick (Kayleigh) Johnson, Tiffany Johnson, Aaron Johnson, Devin Rodgers, John Blackburn, Jr., Ashley Bright, Landon Rodgers and Ava Rodgers. One great grandchild, Patrick Johnson, Jr. Diana is also survived by many brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews.
Diana was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She will be greatly missed and cherished by all who knew and loved her.
Memorial services will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home, Grove City, OH on Tuesday, February 16, 2021 at 11:30 am. A short visitation will be at 11:00 am prior to the service. Pastor Joe Fox will preside over the service. Interment will be at Harrison Township Cemetery, South Bloomfield, OH immediately following.
As an expression of sympathy, donations can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Diana's name.
