Dick Burns

Harold Richard "Dick" Burns, age 76, of Columbus, passed away November 15, 2022 at Doctor's West Hospital following a brief illness. Dick was employed by Strawser Trucking until he recently stopped driving due to health issues. Dick also loved Nascar racing and football. Dick is preceded in death by his son, Rick Burns, parents, Robert "Mose" and Juanita Burns, brothers, Charlie, Larry, Don Burns, and sister Sue Gammell. He is survived by sons, Kevin (Pam) Burns of Grove City and Todd (Beth) Burns of Jackson, grandchildren, Brian, Jennifer, Lakyn, Destanee, Dusty, Willow, Eric, Chianna, Jaxson and Malaki and several great grandchildren. Dick also leaves behind brothers Dean Burns of Wilkesville, Bill (Wanda), John (Tommie), Mike (Debbie) and Jimmy (Sheri) of Columbus, sisters Milly (Skip) of Grove City, Kathy (Paul) of Wilkesville and Mary (John) of Delaware and many nieces, nephews and friends.

Dick left his mark on everyone he came in contact with. You loved him or you hated him. One thing for certain He Did It His Way his entire life!

Friends may call at Newcomer Funeral Home, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH on Tuesday, November 22, 2022 from 1:00pm until time of service at 3:00pm. Burial will be held at a later date.
