Richard "Dick" Leon DeVoe, age 74, began his new journey on February 20, 2011 surrounded by his family. Dick was our beloved father and friend. He was a U.S.M.C. Mortar Man. Dick was a professional painter for over 40 years. He loved classic cars, and old westerns. He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Joanna; sons, Briane (Nina), David, Randy (Emma), Skeeter (Lynn) and Stanley; daughters, Elissia (Terry), Rhonda (Jerry) and Chery (Bob); brothers and sister, and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Our love is with him and he is forever in our hearts until we see him again. Visitation will be held 1:00 to 3:00 and 5:00 to 6:00 PM Wednesday, February 23, 2011 at Newcomer Funeral Home SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH 43123. Funeral service will be held 6:00 PM Wednesday, February 23, 2011 at the funeral home following visitation.
