Dolly Hanning, 90, Columbus, passed away Tuesday, June 21, 2011. Dolly was born in Moundsville, WV on November 6, 1920, to Clemence A. and Nettie (Barcus) Mason and is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Howard L. Hanning; daughters, Margaret and Phyllis Hanning; sisters, Geneva Osburn, Betty L. Wellman, Margaret (Peggy) Ferral; brothers, Earl, William, Charles & Clemence Mason. Survivors include her daughter, Nettie (George) Mabe; son, Frank (Diana) Hanning; sister, Kathleen Jefferies, Moundsville, WV; brother, Floyd E. Mason, San Francisco, CA; 3 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. Dolly was a member of Free United Methodist Church and volunteered with Mifflin Twp for many years. Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 26, 2011, 2-6PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, NE Chapel, 3047 East Dublin Granville Road, Columbus, OH with the Funeral Service on Monday, June 27, 2011, 11:00 AM at the funeral home. Dr. Chad Hanning, grandson, will officiate. Interment will follow at Mifflin Twp Cemetery, Gahanna, OH. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Relay for Life of Westerville (www.relayforlife/orgwesterville).
