Dolores Spiwak (memaw) passed away on Monday, August 28, 2023 in Westerville Ohio.
She was born on June 6, 1940 in Dayton, Ohio which made her an Flyers fan.
She was a devout Catholic and the most giving woman you have ever met. She was always at home for her children and passed on her love of sports. Football season was always the best time of the year. Don't even think about talking to her if Notre Dame is on!
She was preceded in death by her husband John J. Spiwak and seven sisters.
She is survived by her sister Maureen Schutte (Dale Schutte) and her children, Stephen J. Spiwak (Allison Spiwak), Patricia Betts (Mark Betts), Kathleen Murphy (Robert Padilla), and Sandra Spiwak. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren, Alan Spiwak.
Alexander Rittenhouse, Nicholas Rittenhouse, Cassidy Rittenhouse. Mitchell Murphy and Emily Murphy.
And I am sure that she would appreciate any prayers you have for the Cleveland browns as they were her favorite NFL team.
In lieu of flowers, donations can made to St. Jude's Children's hospital or OSU medical center.
There will be a graveside service on Friday, September 15, 2023 at 11am at Resurrection Cemetery.
