Donald J. Coleman, 80, of Grove City, passed away on June 19, 2013 at the Ohio Veterans Home in Georgetown, Ohio.
He was born on August 28, 1932 to the late Leo James and Anne Elizabeth (Gregor) Coleman, in Detroit, Michigan.
Don retired from the US Marine Corp after 20 years serving in both the Korean Conflict and Vietnam War.
He was a member of the Grove City American Legion Paschall Post 164 and Past Commander of Roberts Road VFW, Hilliard, Ohio.
In addition to his parents, Donald was also preceded in death by his twin brother, Ronald; sisters, Patricia Ann Hoenshield, Beverly Jean Pappert, Nancy Ann Fogarty, and Mary Elizabeth Brown.
Donald is survived by his loving children, Marlene (Terry) Hanson, Donna (Terry) Hendricks, Patti (Mark) Rolan and Keith (Lisa) Coleman; their mother, Eleanor Coleman; grandchildren Garrett and Patrick Hendricks, Natalie Hanson, Ashleigh (Doug) Chapman, Nick (Emily) and Jared Rolan; great grandchildren, Mia Chapman and Wyatt Rolan; many nieces, nephews and close friends.
Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 PM Friday, June 21, 2013 at Newcomer Funeral Home SW Chapel 3393 Broadway, Grove City, Ohio 43123 where funeral services will be held at 12:00 NOON, Saturday June 22, 2013. Burial at Grove City Cemetery with Full Military Honors.
