Donald David Cormanick, 66, of Reynoldsburg, passed away Monday, July 23, 2012. He was born June 5, 1946 in Pickaway, County.
Don was preceded in death by his father, Nicholas Cormanick and grandson, Christopher Jackson.
He was a proud lifelong Marine and also enjoyed fishing, traveling, his pets, the Buckeyes, people (he was a "people person") and nature.
Don is survived by his daughters, Liza (Dr. Terry "Skip") Magee and Angie (Brian) Jackson; son, David (Monsi) Cormanick; mother, Violet Bircher Cormanick; brother, William Cormanick; sisters, Linda Stepp, Darlene (Bob) Nader and Jenny (Chester) Coleman; grandchildren, Tyler and Katy Magee, Brady, Cole and Alyssa Jackson and Daniel Cormanick; companion, Sandra Heckler and many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Visitation will be Thursday, July 26, 2012 from 5:00-7:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home NE Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Rd. Columbus, with funeral service will begin at 7:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to V.F.W. Post #9473, 1420 Waggoner Rd. Reynoldsburg, OH 43068.
Don was a loving father and grandfather who will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege to have met him. Don't worry about Dad he's "FINE", he's with God and all his Angels and Saints.
