Donald Darnell, 76, passed away on December 23, 2021 surrounded by his loving family in the comfort of his home.
He was born on May 16, 1945 in Lancaster, Ohio to Charles and Virginia Darnell.
Don was a proud Navy veteran having served in Vietnam. He was also an avid golfer and loved the game, but most importantly he cherished his family.
Surviving family members includes his beloved Fiance; Judith Ames, Children; Brian (Ashley) Darnell, Kevin (Lorie) Darnell, Eddie Baldzicki, John Baldzicki, Mike Baldzicki, Steve Baldzicki. Granddaughters; Haileigh, Ellie, Ava, Everleigh, Riley, Rowan. Siblings; Hubert, Debra, Robbin. Many extended family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; Charles and Virginia Darnell. Siblings; Joann Darnell Chapman, Chuck Darnell. First Wife; Trudy Darnell.
Visitation will be held from 2-4pm, Thursday, December 30, 2021 at Newcomer Funeral Home, NW Chapel, 10051 Brewster Lane, Powell, OH 43065 where a funeral service will begin at 4pm.
In lieu of flowers donations may be directed to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
