Donald H. Eal Sr., age 88, passed away on his birthday, June 25, 2021. He was born June 25, 1933 to the late Raymond and Johanna Eal.
Donald is preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Johanna Eal; eldest son Donald H. Eal Jr.; grandson, Donald L. Eal; and his many siblings.
He leaves behind his loving wife,Margaret Eal of whom he was married for 64 years; 6 children, Margie (Terry) Sorrell, William (Vivian) Eal, Karen (Bill) Porter, Johanna (Kevin) Young, Michael Eal, and Deborah Eal; 14 grandchildren, Ellis and Eddie Sorrell, Shawn and David Eal, Corey and Trystan Eal, Dawn Cross and Billy Porter, Jessica and Heather Davy, Corey and Elijah Young, Ashley and Donald L. Eal, and many great grandchildren.
Donald is a veteran of the United States Army and was retired from the City of Columbus where he was employed for 30 years. He along with his parents and siblings were lifelong members of Sacred Heart church in Columbus.
He will be deeply missed by his family and his friends.
Visitation will be held at the NEWCOMER SOUTHWEST CHAPEL 3393 Broadway, Grove City, Ohio 43123 on Thursday, July 1, 2021 from 11:00am until time of funeral service at 1:00pm.
Interment to follow at St. Joseph Cemetery.
