Donald L. Ivers, 71, of Columbus, passed away May 11, 2007. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ferman Ivers and Reda (Robbins) Ivers Carter. Don is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 38 years, Dee; children, Ruth Ann (Pat) McMartin, Terri (Eddie) Cox, Donald (Laurie) Ivers Jr., Scottie Ivers, Eric (Tracy) Ivers, Steven Ivers; step-children, Peggy Kraft, David Kraft; 27 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren and brother, John F. (Margarete) Ivers. Don was a member of the Southside Church of Christ for 17 years and had many Christian friends there. Don had worked for Mary Haven as a maintenance man for 15 years and worked on Jukeboxes and Pinball machines for 60 years. Memorial services will be held 11:00AM Saturday, May 19, 2007 at Southside Church of Christ, 275 Colton Rd., Columbus, Ohio 43207 with Pastor Steve Liming officiating. Visitation will be held from 10:00AM until time of service. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Southside Church of Christ.
