Donald L. Finnerty, 60, of Reynoldsburg, passed away on Sunday, May 3, 2009, surrounded by his loving family. Born to Fred and Carrie (Seymour) Finnerty in Columbus, OH on February 13, 1949, Don is preceded in death by his parents; sister, Betty Haskins; brother, Raymond Finnerty. Survivors include his wife of 35 years, Rose (Shiller) Finnerty; daughter, Angela (Mark) Shope; sons, Robert (Rachel O'Quinn) Finnerty and Joseph Finnerty; sister, Peggy Armstrong; grandchildren, Joshua, Casey, Michelle and Tayler; great-grandchildren, Kaden; many extended family members and friends. Don's family will receive friends on Friday, May 8, 2009, 1-4 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, NE Chapel, 3047 East Dublin Granville Road, Columbus, OH with a Celebration of Life Memorial Service at 4:00 PM at the funeral home.
