Donald Lemley, 77, of Mt. Sterling, Ohio passed away Wednesday January 26, 2022. He was born on February 21, 1944 in Laurium, Michigan to the late Alexander and Betty June (Armour) Gostel.
He is preceded in death by his brothers Albert and Mark Gostel.
Donald is survived by his wife of 37 years, Kay Lemley; children, Donald Lemley, Desiree Lemley Six, Dawn Abramson; step-children, Nelson (Betty) Speakman, Charles Speakman; siblings, Sharon Martin, John (Belinda) Armour, Robert Gostel, Tonya (David) East, Joe Gostel; in-laws, Bobbie (Rich) Craft, Pattie (Rick) Waugh, Mike Hughes, Laurie Hughes, Samantha Heinze; fifteen granchildren; twelve great-grandchilren; many friends and racing buddies.
He proudly served in the United States Air Force. Donald was a member of the American Legion. He loved Nascar and stock car racing. His favorite hobby was playing the slot machines at the casino. He loved spending time on his boat fishing. Donald spent a lot of time traveling with his wife. They visited many places together.
Visitation will be held at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions located at 3933 Broadway, Grove City, Ohio on February 8, 2022 from 1pm to 3pm , with a service officiated by Art Smith immediately following at 3pm.
