Donald E. Lightfoot, 74, passed away peacefully Saturday March 27 at Grant Hospital in Columbus after a long battle with cancer.
Born in Logan, Ohio, the son of the Late Donald D. and Jean Foreman Lightfoot. He is the widower of Robin Miller Lightfoot, who passed away September 2020. Graduated from Logan High School in 1964 and is an Air Force Veteran (1965 – 1967). Worked for several local Law Enforcement and Security Agencies around the Columbus area.
He survived by a daughter Karen (Larry) Lybrook, two step-daughters Michelle (Doug) Jeffrey and Tonya Pompi, Brothers Tony (Adele) of Placentia, CA, Greg and Phillip (Patty) of Logan and Brad (Loraine) of Traver City, MI. Brothers-in-laws Robert (Lori) Miller, Ozzie Stroud; sisters-in-laws Dorothy (Robin) Workman, Bobbi Robey, Cindy Landrum-Miller, Cindy Riley-Miller and Sharon Miller; Several nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He is also preceded in death by a son Eric, a sister Lisa Burnside, Grandparents Wilbur Sr. and Clara Walker Lightfoot and Mona Mehler. Plus several aunts, uncles, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.
The family will receive guests on Monday, April 5, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. at Newcomer-SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway in Grove City. The Memorial Service will begin at 12:00 p.m.
