Donald Wayne Mayle

Donald Wayne Mayle, 64, of Columbus, passed away unexpectedly on January 11, 2025. He was born on May 23, 1960, in Columbus to Chaney Mayle. Don was lovingly raised by his grandparents, Sarah Faye Mayle and William “Willie” Mayle.

He married the love of his life, Tina M. McCune, on March 15, 1987, and she survives him. He adored his wife, Tina, and cherished their life together. Don was also a proud and devoted father to his daughter, Lori (Gregory) Borojevich, and a doting grandfather to his beloved granddaughter, Madison Borojevich. His family was his world, and he treasured every moment spent with them.

Don is also survived by his siblings Lisa and Todd Fisher and many other family members and friends who will deeply miss his presence and kindness.

He was preceded in death by his loving uncle, Roger Mayle, and Roger's wife, Stacy Mayle; his mother, Chaney Fischer; his stepfather, William “Bill” Fischer; his grandparents, Sarah Faye and William “Willie” Mayle; and many other dear family members and friends.

Don was a dedicated truck driver for over 25 years with 48forty Solutions. He found fulfillment in the open road, enjoying the freedom and independence that came with his work. When he wasn’t on the road, Don loved spending time with his family, collecting cars, and traveling with his family. He was always eager to share a laugh or lend a hand to those in need.

Family and friends are invited to join in a time of remembrance and reflection during a visitation from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 23, 2025, at Newcomer Northeast, 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Road, Columbus, OH 43231. A service to honor Don’s life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, January 24, 2025, at the same location. A burial will follow at Chesterhill Cemetery, 1535 Mill Street, Chesterhill, Ohio 43728.
