Donald L. McNeal, 70, passed on to be with the Lord on October 28, 2008. Born December 10, 1937 to the late Charles Benford and Virginia Mae McNeal. He worked at Ranco on 5th Avenue and as a self employed carpenter and cabinet maker for many years. Survivors include his loving wife of 45 years, Joan L. McNeal of Grove City; sons, Daryl McNeal of Columbus and Randy (Valerie) McNeal of Grove City; grandsons, Cody and Zack McNeal; and many cousins and friends. Donald's family, especially his sons and grandsons, were a very important and special part of his life. Visitation will be held Thursday, October 30, 2008 from 2:00PM-4:00PM and 6:00PM-8:00PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, Southwest Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, Ohio. Graveside service will be held Friday, October 31, 2008 at 10:30AM at Union Grove Cemetery, 400 Winchester Cemetery Rd., Canal Winchester, Ohio. Pastor Steve Combs officiating. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to be made to Nationwide Children's Hospital.
