Donald R. Morrison Jr.

Donald R. Morrison Jr., age 65, passed away on December 18, 2021. He was born on February 11, 1956 in Columbus, Ohio to the late Ruth and Donald Morrison Sr.

Don graduated Grove City High School in 1974. He joined the U.S. Army and served in Korea from 1976-1977. He attained the rank of Sergeant and was honorably discharged in 1979. He worked as a welder at Kinetics Noise Control for 33 years until retirement. Don enjoyed fishing, boating and water sports. He was also a huge OSU Buckeyes fan and liked playing cards with friends and family.

Don is survived by his daughter, Amy (Adam) Freeman; siblings, Christine (Rick) Crawford, Chrystle (Morris) McCoy, Rick (Marsha) Morrison; granddaughters, Abbigail and Annabelle Freeman; numerous nieces and nephews.

The visitation will be on Wednesday, December 22, 2021 from 4-6:00 p.m. at Newcomer-SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway in Grove City, Ohio 43123. Burial will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday at Dayton National Cemetery, 4400 W Third St, Dayton, OH 45428.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Disabled American Veterans, 35 East Chestnut Street, Suite 503, Columbus, Ohio 43215. Please make checks payable to DAV and in the memo put "In Memory of Donald Morrison."
