In loving memory of Donald Francis Pierce (Don) age 86, born January 19, 1919 entered peacefully into the Arms of Jesus on May 15, 2005 at his home in Westerville, Ohio where he was kept in comfort by the Angels of Hospice. He is preceded in death by his loving wife of 60 years Regina (Jean), brother Raymond, son in law, Jim Jackson and parents Floyd and Cora Pierce. He leaves behind his loving children Linda Jackson, Lora Stewart (Ted), Anne Hoffmann (Art), Sharon O'Neil (Gary), Stephen Pierce (Carolyn), Beverly Stewart (Dennis), Lawrence Pierce (Drema) Michael Pierce (Tammy), 17 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren and sister Mildred Bailey. This is not a goodbye Dad, its only we'll see you later. He was a member of Harlem Church of Christ in Christian Union and he will be sadly missed but fondly remembered by many friends and neighbors. Family and farming was his life. Family will be blessed with visitors at the Newcomer Funeral Home, 3047 E. Dublin Granville Rd., Columbus, Ohio 43231 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm on Tuesday, May 17, 2005. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, May 18 at the Harlem Church of Christ in Christian Union, 11229 Gorsuch Rd., Galena, OH. Reverend John Little will be officiating.
