Donald L. Reygaert, Sr, 88, passed away on Friday, June 2, 2023 in Columbus, Ohio.
He was born on July 18, 1934 in Mishawaka, Indiana to the late Albert and Virginia Reygaert.
Don is preceded in death by daughter, Debbie Ciencin and son, Richard Reygaert.
Don is survived by his wife of 21 years, Pam Reygaert; children, Donna Stevenson, Donald Reygaert, Jr; many step-children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and a host of family and friends.
Don was a gentle, loving man. He enjoyed telling jokes and spending time with his family. He was an avid sports fan, with the Chicago Bears and Cubs being his favorite teams, but would sit for hours watching any sporting event that happened to be on TV. He loved bird-watching and spent hours watching them on the feeder in the front yard.
Don worked at Torrington Bearings in South Bend, IN for 25 years and went on to retire from Valley Screen Processing in Mishawaka, IN before meeting his wife of 21 years, Pam, and moving to Ohio. They spent several years as snow-birds in Boynton Beach, Florida before moving back to Columbus in 2013.
Family will receive friends on Friday, June 9, 2023 from 5:00pm to 6:00pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Columbus Northeast Chapel, 3047 East Dublin-Granville Road, Columbus, Ohio 43231 with a funeral service immediately following at 6:00pm also at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Columbus Northeast Chapel.
