Donald Joseph Spedding Jr., age 74, passed away on January 27, 2021. He was born on September 5, 1946 in Ilion, New York.
Don was a proud veteran of the US Army. He was part of the 503 "gang." Don was a teacher for over 20 years at Park Street Middle School and he touched the lives of many students. He always enjoyed being recognized by former students. In his spare time, Don enjoyed being outdoors, boating, watching the OSU Buckeyes, woodworking and riding his Jet-Ski.
Left to cherish his memory are his children Rob (Zorina) Spedding and Raelynn (Eric) McIntyre; siblings, Kathleen (Daniel) Signoracci, Mary (William) Ball; grandchildren, Carlyann Spedding, Connor Spedding, Whitney Thrasher, Becca Somers, Alex (Tristan) Somers, Kayla Trout, Gage Trout, Ryan McIntyre; great-grandchildren, Harper, Harrison, Kyson, Wade.
Don was preceded in death by his beloved wife and soulmate, Carla; parents, Donald and Margaret; brother, David.
Per his wishes, no services will be held at this time. A Memorial Service is pending for a later date.
