Donald Spung, 87, of Columbus, OH passed away December 27, 2011. Donald was a beloved, faithful husband and father and is now in the arms of Jesus, his loving savior. He was born on November 29, 1924 in Columbus, OH. He was preceded in death by his parents, Melvin and Merle Spung, sister, Lila Elliott. Survivors include, loving wife of 62 years, Jane Spung, daughters, Gini (Randy) Trexler, Marilyn (Newton) Crabbe, brother, James Spung, 5 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be conducted at 10:00am, Monday, January 2, 2012 at Columbia Heights United Methodist Church, 775 Galloway Road, Galloway, OH 43119. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Harbor Light Hospice, 751 Brooksedge Plaza Drive, Westerville, OH. Messages of condolence may be shared with the family at www.NewcomerColumbus.com.
