Donald Lee Wheeler, 75, of Columbus, passed away surrounded by his family on August 12, 2021. He was born on May 28, 1946, in Columbus, to the late Chad and Geneva (Boeshansz) Wheeler.
Don had a passion for old cars, and enjoyed watching racing. He enjoyed working on model cars and spending time with his family.
He married the love of his life, Joyce, on May 1st, 1976 and spent 44 wonderful years together. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his wife, Joyce (Brewer) Wheeler; niece, Joann (Kevin) Ziegler; great-nieces, Samantha (Kayla) and Corissa Cunningham; sisters, Judy (Robert) Caudill and Sharon (Matt) Ackert; and many other friends and family.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, August 17, 2021 from 5-8 p.m., at Newcomer SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, 43123; where a funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 18, 2021, at 10 a.m. Burial will follow at Obetz Cemetery.
