Donald Wheeler, 63, of Columbus, passed away Friday, August 14, 2009 at his residence. He was born August 5, 1946, in Blue Island, Indiana, son of the late Charles and Mildred Kolloway Wheeler. In addition to his parents, Don was preceded in death by his sister, Barbara Wheeler. He is survived by his forever friend, Patricia Anderson; son, Ted (Nancy) Wheeler; stepson, Jeff Rose; stepdaughter, Penny (Larry) Wood; sisters, Diane Wheeler, Dorothy Tender, Carol Wheeler, Peggy Campbell and Lela Killingsworth; stepbrother, Charles Wheeler; grandchildren, Jeremy and Jordan Wood, Adam and Amber Rose, Taylor and Blake Wheeler. Visitation will be Tuesday, August 18, 2009 from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home 3393, Broadway, Grove City. Funeral service will be Wednesday, August 19, 2009 at 10:00 AM at the funeral home. Interment will be in Alton Cemetery.
